Caring for Your Countertops

Always use a hot pad or trivet when place hot pots, hot baking sheets, any heat generating device on countertops

Never cut directly on countertop surface -always use a cutting board

For every day cleaning using a soft damp cloth and mild soap is sufficient and dry surface after cleaning

For deeper cleaning an abrasive cleaner such as Ajax, Comet, Bar keepers friend etc. and Scotch Brite pad is sufficient. Always dry surface after cleaning.

Do not use Window Cleaners on solid surface as this will leave a filmy residue

Cleaning solid surface sinks

Fill with hot water and adding a capful of bleach and waiting 10 – 15 minutes.

Drain and rinse out 

Scrub with the abrasive side of a blue sponge & Rinse

For daily cleaning use clean cloth or soft side of sponge with mild soap and warm water. Rinse and then thoroughly dry

For stubborn spots use a soft cloth, or soft side of sponge and a mild non-abrasive cleaner along with plenty of water

To avoid dulling surface use non abrasive cleaners, pads and sponges

Acetone should not be used on quartz

Do not use bleach, oven cleaners, abrasive pads or powders
